Every coach has a different way to work with clients, but there a some very basic features that are consistent. We had to find a way to build the critical mass of features without forcing coaches to feel like we were dictating how they should engage with clients.
We build a flexible engagement interface that allowed coaches to define their own terms, add and share documents, write notes (internal and shared), and set up meetings with reminders.
We delivered a valuable interface that was well-received by coaches but was probably still a bit too feature rich for our marketplace. Done again, we would have focused less on engagement management and spent more time on lead generation features.
